A dispute that reportedly began earlier this month over 2 PistolsT-Pain-assisted single “Got It” erupted into violence at the pre-party for the BET Awards this afternoon.

Recently, Jive/Konvict Muzik artist Dolla told Detroit radio that he had turned down the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League-produced single before it was offered to the Universal Records recording artist. Dolla reportedly added that if he were to have used the track, he was not going the “girl route,” a slight at what the Florida rapper did with the subsequent hit from his Death Before Dishonor album [click to read].

At the Shrine Auditorium today in Los Angeles, the comments stirred into an altercation when Dolla quietly approached 2 Pistols to discuss the matter at a preliminary event for this evening’s BET Awards. The discussion quickly grew confusing as one eyewitness told HipHopDX that 2 Pistols made a move before being struck by a blow from Dolla. 2 Pistols hit the ground, reportedly with a bloodied face, only to have the scuffle broken up by nearby entourage. Dolla was later removed from the area by his own entourage.

The incident comes after a trend of recent new artists fighting with one another, most notably a stolen jewelery incident with 40 Glocc and Tyga [click to read].
