The 2022 XXL Freshman Class has finally been revealed, and it includes a few big names featured on HipHopDX’s Rising Stars list.

The previous Freshman Class in 2021 included Coi Leray, Pooh Shiesty, Morray, Iann Dior, Layekah, DDG, 42 Dugg, Rubi Rose, Blxst, Toosii and Flo Milli, all of whom went on to achieve significant stardom in 2022.

As is always the case, fans felt divided on who received the final stamp of approval this year, with disgruntled fans on Twitter particularly sad to see Yeat and Lucki didn’t make the cut.
