The housing market in America has gone topsy-turvy since the beginning of 2020 yet Iggy Azalea can consider herself a winner. The “Fancy” rapper, who has a self-proclaimed addiction to the real estate website Zillow, recently accepted an offer for her mansion in Hidden Hills, California — and she actually made money on the sale.
According to TMZ, Azalea listed the 5-bedroom, 5-bath for $6.2 million in January but found no buyers until recently, when she received an offer at $5.949 million. The figure actually is about $700,000 higher than what Azalea paid for the property when she moved in last year.
On Monday (May 9), Azalea revealed her newfound love on Twitter, writing, “I keep selling my house so I have an excuse to Zillow. I’m obsessed. It’s my actual addiction.”
The sale comes not long after Iggy Azalea began feuding with her neighbors regarding renovations she wanted to have done to the home in June 2021, less than a month after she moved in.

“Day 1 living in my new house and my bored housewives ass neighbor already tried to snitch on me for doing construction in my own fuckin home,” she tweeted. “Little does she know, fucking with her is now my new hobby and life’s work. You live next to a Gemini now sweetie. Hi, I’m petty!”
Azalea’s real estate win has been a common theme in rap with artists and entertainers dropping millions on new abodes for themselves and their families. In March, Drakeplaced his Hidden Hills mansion, dubbed the “Yolo Estate,” on the market for $22 million, days after purchasing a $75 million estate in Beverly Hills. Days later, 2 Chainz dropped $3.8 million on a Hollywood Hills mansion and Bhad Bhabieturned her OnlyFans earnings and money management skills into a $6.1 million Florida mansion she paid for — in cash.
