A billboard announcing Lil Baby’s imminent arrival was spotted and shared on social media, with the Atlanta rapper announcing “I’m Coming” in bright white text.

While it’s unclear where the billboard was seen, fans and blogs alike believe this announcement means a new Baby album is on the way. The 27-year-old lyricist did just drop two new tracks titled “Right On” and “In a Minute” earlier this month and he’d previously announced on his Instagram Stories that summer 2022 is his for the taking.

“This summers mine,” the rapper wrote on his Story on March 13 alongside a photo of him sitting with massive piles of cash stacked on his lap. The statement was meant as a reply to his Drip Harder affiliate Gunna, who had previously proclaimed the summer would belong to him.

The last fans heard from Lil Baby was on his 2021 Lil Durk collab The Voice of the Heroes, which featured appearances from Meek Mill, Travis Scott and Rod Wave. The project snagged the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 its first week and moved an estimated 150,000 total album-equivalent units earned, most of which were earned by streams.

The last solo outing of Baby’s was his critically acclaimed debut My Turn, which dropped back in 2020 and featured appearances from Gunna, 42 Dugg, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug and Rylo Rodriguez. The project was one of the year’s biggest releases and was certified 4x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of American (RIAA) in February.
