Future is about to make his official return to the music scene with his next album, and fans are getting ready for a whole new era from the Atlanta rap star.

Future Hendrix has dropped several teasers for the project over the last few months, including teasing its imminent release on Twitter earlier this week. The latest hint suggests there’ll be at least one A-list collaboration on the upcoming record.

On Tuesday (April 5), Freebandz rapper Young Scooter posted a short clip on his Instagram Stories of Future filming a music video with Kanye West. “@future @kanyewest THIS TO HARD IM ABOUT TO LEAK IT ALBUM SOON,” Scooter captioned the footage, which shows the duo posted up in a dimly-lit room wearing all-black outfits.

Future added more fuel to the fire by reposting the clip on his own Instagram Story, adding, “Ima have album date this week jus holdup .. YE SPAZZED ON DIS SHIT.”

After linking up on “I Won” back in 2014, Future and Kanye West have forged a closer relationship in recent years. Ye came out as a special guest during the Atlanta native’s Rolling Loud California set in December, before recruiting the Dirty Sprite don to executive produce his latest album DONDA 2.

While the Stem Player-exclusive album has yet to be released in full, Hendrix appears on several tracks including “Pablo” and “Happy.” It appears Kanye will return the favor on Future’s upcoming project, which he continued to hype up on Twitter on Tuesday night.

“Getting ready to DROP,” Future wrote in one tweet, before adding, “When the album drop ain’t no being humble…Da biggest [eagle].”

Future’s upcoming album will serve as the follow-up to his 2020 effort, High Off Life. Featuring appearances from Drake, Travis Scott, Young Thug and more, the project earned Pluto his seventh consecutive solo No. 1 after earning 153,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
