Kanye West and Fivio Foreign have been spending a lot of time together since the two linked up on “Off The Grid” alongside Playboi Carti on Donda. Their newfound friendship has led to another stellar collaboration, this time with Alicia Keys on “City of Gods,” and Ye thinks he may have found his new tag-team partner.

Recently, Fivio Foreign took to his Instagram Story with a post revealing a text conversation with Ye regarding “City of Gods.” Fans can see Kanye reached out to Fivio and let him know the song is the No. 1 song on Apple Music’s “Top 25: New York City” playlist while also saying they make a good team.

“Congratulations family We did it again We make a good team,” Kanye texted Fivio, who wrote in his caption on the IG Story, “This is wat we do big bro @kanyewest.”

This isn’t the first time Kanye has given Fivio credit for his creativity. In September, the “Big Drip” rapper spoke to the Los Angeles Leakers on Power 106 about Kanye complimenting his rap skills following his verse on “Off The Grid.”

Fivio Foreign Says Kanye West Compared Him To JAY-Z After 'Donda' Verse

“I go Ye, who I remind you of? Who I remind you of,” Fivio recalls. “He like, ‘I don’t know, that’s a good question.’ The question went past so I guess we start eating or whatever. Then something hit him. He go, ‘I got it! Hov!’ I’m like, ‘Word? Hov?’ He say, ‘Hov!'”

The union between Kanye West and Fivio Foreign will extend to the Brooklyn rap star’s upcoming debut studio album B.I.B.L.E., which will drop on March 25. According to a tweet from Fivio back in August, Kanye West will be executive producing the album.
