Nicki Minaj made plenty of headlines on Monday (September 13) with her Twitter tirade touching on contracting COVID-19, not appearing at the Met Gala or 2021 MTV VMAs, her vaccination status and more.

She turned her attention later Monday night into blasting political commentators Joy-Ann Reid, Meghan McCain and other news publications for supposedly taking her words out of context.

“A lying homophobic coon I guess I can join in the reindeer games too right,” she wrote. “Ppl can go on tv & lie on me, I can report on them, too right? Doesn’t have to be truths. It can be half truths. Uncle Tomiana asked who on earth would trust the US FDA guys… @JoyAnnReid.”

Nicki continued, “This is what happens when you’re so thirsty to down another black woman (by the request of the white man), that you didn’t bother to read all my tweets. ‘My God SISTER do better’ imagine getting ur dumb ass on tv a min after a tweet to spread a false narrative about a black woman.”

Reid called out Nicki Minaj for using her platform dangerously to “not encourage” the Black community to protect themselves from COVID-19 through vaccination.

When conservative pundit Meghan McCain replied to Nicki’s viral vaccine tweet, the Barbz leader snarkily clapped back telling her to, “Eat shit you.”

Nicki is currently unvaccinated as she continues to do her research, which includes hearing about her Trinidadian cousin’s friend who allegedly became impotent following receiving the vaccine.

However, Nicki is encouraging the Barbz to mask up and get vaccinated if that’s what’s required to feed their families.

Nicki Minaj was expected to make an appearance at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, but that was shuttered due to contracting COVID-19. Instead, she’ll take the rest of the year to spend time with her baby boy and return with new music in 2022.

She also might be making a management change heading into her fifth studio album after she’s reportedly no longer managed by Irving Azoff. According to Variety, Nicki is in negotiations with SALXCO owner Wassim “SalXO” Slaiby who currently manages The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Diddy, Ty Dolla $ign and more.
