The Harlem emcee’s debut, The Yellow Tape, will hit stores with an accompanying DVD April 1. The DVD
will have footage of about 40 of his rap battles, along with behind-the-scenes
footage with his Dipset cohorts.
Though this is 40 Cal’s
first solo album, he has established a reputation based on his battles in Fight Klub, the circuit that helped
boost cred for the likes of Remy Ma,
Sirius Jones and others before they
signed major label deals. He’s also released several mixtapes: Broken Safety and Broken Safety 2, and Trigger Happy
and Trigger Happy 2.
