Boog The Bandit was gunned down in May just as her career was beginning to blossom. The Columbus, Ohio rapper was only 26 years old at the time of her death, bringing a cruel and abrupt end to her life. Authorities arrested the first suspect, 22-year-old Kyson Murphy, in June. Murphy was charged with murder and aggravated robbery.

Now, police have reportedly arrested a second suspect. According to 10TV News, police took 19-year-old Jumada Williams into custody on Wednesday (August 11), while 17-year-old Sincere McIntyre remains on the run. Both have been charged with murder and aggravated robbery.

Boog The Bandit (real name Courtney Bruce) was in the car with another person when they were assaulted by a group of men armed with handguns. Police say the assailants shot at the car several times, striking Boog. Shortly after walking into Mount Carmel East Hospital around 6:10 p.m. local time, she was pronounced dead.

Police Arrest Suspected Killer Of Female Ohio Rapper Boog The Bandit

Court records reportedly state Williams took part in the robbery and a witness claimed Williams pointed a gun at Boog and the other victim during the incident. On August 9, tMurphy pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and robbery.
Prosecutors and defense attorneys recommended he get a sentence of 12 to 16.5 years in prison on December 16 when he’s expected to be back in court.
