Jadakiss Gets All The Love Following Dipset + The LOX Verzuz

The LOX and Dipset Verzuz battle went down at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater in New York City on Tuesday night (August 3) and there was a clear standout from the event — Jadakiss.

The veteran LOX rapper became a trending Twitter topic before the face-off was even over, with hundreds of people praising him for his effortless swagger and sharp lyrical skills. The LOX came out swinging from the jump, performing their features on N.O.R.E.’s “Banned From TV” and DMX’s “N-ggaz Done Started Something.”

As for The Diplomats, Jim Jones and Cam’ron fired back on songs such as “Byrd Gang Money” and “Get Em Girls,” but Jadakiss and his crew continued to smoke them throughout the evening.

The spirited event went on for over two hours and in the end, fans handed the New York rap crown to The LOX, likely much to Jones’ chagrin. Jones was talking an overwhelming amount of smack ahead of the showdown.

“Somebody ask Styles if they want to bring a pull-up bar on stage, too, so I can smoke all three of them,” he wrote on Instagram last month. “While I’m smoking all three of them, smoke on this LOX pack real quick. Heavy smoke. It’s up. It’s just up.”

But it looks like Styles P had his psychic moment, replying, “That drip and muscles ain’t gonna stop this slaughtering. You just gonna be drippy and in good shape while [you] get slaughtered!!! There will be no immunity for the set!!! Against the holy trinity of this shit!!!!”

Jadakiss easily walked away with MVP honors, at least according to Twitter. Check out some of the reactions below and watch the entire battle above.

    1. Ain’t hard bars that hard since that King Tekashi verse on Gummo. Glad to see they bringing real Hip-Hop back. The game needs it right now!

      1. Tekashi is a clown, and so are you, so sit the fuck down, eat your wheaties in moms basement and suck a fat dick 🙂

    2. my take on it was the dj fumbled big time. SP was acting like a retard, Kiss was a beast. if anything Lox hogged the stage, and literally played all different artists song but freestyles? naw man

      1. You mean zekey was acting like a retard. LOX freestyles were killin dipset real songs… They got dealt with

    3. Won’t front, was more of a Dipset fan growing up (fucked with Jada but just wasn’t into the lox like that at the time), Jada Thanos snapped though lol. Need buddy to drop an EP or something.

    4. You shouldn’t be allowed to play freestyles or features. Still and all Dipset wasn’t playing the right shit, same reason Fab got killed.

    5. I bet DMX was looking at this event from above with proud and love for his homies representing the double R. Especially for Jadakiss who was fuled with energy ripping a second asshole to the dipset members just like X would have done to his opponents.

      1. Thanks for the laugh. Yayo is and has always been a joke. Nobody in the industry took him seriously. Lloyd Banks is a respected MC as far as his rhyme skills so Jada wouldn’t even touch him like that out off respect and Buck would have back down like if a cameraman was catching him in a back of a vehicle with a tranny. The only problem would have been Fifty. But let’s not avoid the real subject here: Juelz Santana got touched cause he’s a bitch with no teeth and no classic under his belt.

        1. Jada will touch in rapper from G unit..his lyrical like that so he alone will go head to head to all of them lyrics wise
