Cordae has been one of the Atlantic Records roster’s top-selling Hip Hop artists since he released his Grammy-nominated debut album The Lost Boy in 2019. Now, he’s in pursuit to get a bigger piece of the pie for his music endeavors by starting his own imprint Hi Level Productions.

The former YBN crew member announced his latest power move by posting a photo of the label’s logo on its new Instagram account on Monday (May 10). Cordae also posted a clip from an interview discussing his declaration of independence for Hi Level on Wednesday.

“Hi Level, that’s owned 100 percent by me. This is something I’m passionate about,” Cordae said. “All my friends, we all on that Hi Level shit. All my fans all on that Hi Level shit, so this is something that’s, like, near and deep to my heart and I own it. It’s my shit.”
