Four years after Pharrell Williams successfully collaborated with Parisian fashion house Louis Vuitton on a line of millionaire sunglasses, the team is back at it again this time focusing on a high-end jewelry line named Blason. Pharrell enlisted the help of Camille Miceli, creative consultant and jewelry designer for Louis Vuitton [as well as public relations consultant for designer Marc Jacobs] to create the jewelry line. Blason is a French word for a coat-of-arms representing a dynasty. For centuries, the Blason has been synonymous with aristocratic heritage and wealth.
The Blason collection will feature various pieces inspired by the world of music and will include combinations of white and yellow gold with diamonds. The pieces will range in price from approximately $2,000 to $620,000. Pharrell and Miceli are expected to debut the line to the public on January 21, followed by a private party at a private mansion on Avenue Foch in Paris.
While complete details have yet to be announced, the Blason line of jewelry is expected to be available in Louis Vuitton stores world-wide this spring.
