Quavo is gearing up to take his superstar status to the next level.
On Thursday (March 4), Billboard confirmed the Migos rapper has retained Scooter Braun for management – the man behind the careers of the likes of Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and more. Braun will co-manage with Quavo’s longtime manager Danny Zook, while Quality Control will still co-manage from the label side.
The move follows last month’s news that Huncho has been cast alongside the legendary Robert De Niro in the forthcoming film, Wash Me in the River. In a Billboard interview earlier this week, Cho expressed his excitement to be in a movie with the esteemed actor and revealed he even knew who Migos was when they met.
“I said what’s up to him,” he said. “I told him I said a line in one of my new songs about the trip I just took and he was just like, ‘For real. M-I-G-O-S, right?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, he’s finna go home and look me up.’ It was too hard. I couldn’t wait to tell my Mom dukes that I’m gonna be on the screen and kicked it with him. He’s a nice dude.”

Quavo’s also gearing up for the release of Migos’ fourth studio album Culture III, which is scheduled to arrive by month’s end according to his last update on Valentine’s Day. While little is known about the effort, Bobby Shmurda will likely be making an appearance as the “Workin Me” rapper confirmed in a recent GQ interview that a feature from him on the album is “a must.”
