Alchemist, whose last official album was 2004’s 1st Infantry, spoke recently on the release of his upcoming album Chemical Warfare.
“You might catch Fabolous on the album, you might catch Mobb Deep on the album, Dialated Peoples is definitely on the album…you might catch Kool G. Rap on the album. You might catch my man Pusha from the Clipse…Jadakiss, Twista.”
The producer/emcee indicated that there were some surprises on the album that he did not want to reveal.
“Anything that’s crucial in life is about timing. So it’s really about doing the right thing at the right time,” said Alchemist of the album.

Due to being Eminem’s “official DJ,” Alchemist was able to speak on the Detroit emcee. “Eminem is one of the greatest of all time, and you know he’s not done with rap music. He’s definitely still working. I mean, come on – this is Eminem, this is what he does. I can’t tell you when he’s coming or what not, but know that every day he wakes up…he’s musically inclined, so you know he’s creating something incredible.”
Alchemist also said he got to hear some of the recent work Em has put in in the studio, stating that it was “on another level.”‘
