It’s no secret that rappers have a fascination with deleting their social media accounts right before dropping new music. Meek Mill, The Weeknd and Future did it back in 2017, and it seems like the Atlanta rap star is doing it again.

On Monday (January 4), the “Life is Good” rapper completely wiped out his Instagram page leaving only the Freebandz merchandise store link in the bio. Fans were quick to assume the Freebandz leader was dropping something since he did the same thing in 2017 when he unleashed two chart-topping albums in Future and Hndrxx.

“Already know what this means we’re getting a album,” one person tweeted out while another fan wrote, “2021 is bout to start off with hella toxicity but I’m here for it.”

Right after Future deleted his page, he was seen in Metro Boomin’s Instagram Story cutting up some tunes in the studio.

Last month, longtime friend and frequent collaborator DJ Esco shared a photo of him and Future linking up in the studio after it was reported they were making new music. Esco added fuel to the fire when he told fans they know exactly what was happening in the caption.

There’s no word on what album Future is working on but many believe it to be the sequel to his 2014 mixtape Monster. In November, Future posted a picture of Southside, Metro Boomin and DJ Esco in mid-conversation inside a studio.

Future got his fans riled up when he wrote “Monster 2?” in the caption. His track record with the three producers in the picture is proven given the strong chemistry Future has with them. If all this rumbling turns out to be true, fans can expect another heater from Future.
