According to MTV, fans of rap legend Eazy-E will get to hear some new material from him in March.

Ruthless Records is going to release an eight-song EP called Godfather of Gangsta Rap, which will feature songs that were recorded by Eazy before his death in 1995, but were never released. The EP will accompany a DVD called Impact of a Legend that will feature a documentary, NWA and Eazy videos, and a video game called Hittin Switches. Players will be able to live Eazy’s Compton lifestyle, make a car bounce, and shooting rival gang members.

The EP and DVD are to be released on March 26, 2002, the seventh anniversary of Eazy’s death. Eazy died from complications due to AIDS in 1995. His widow Tomica Woods-Wright now runs Ruthless Records, the company he founded, and his son Eric Wright Jr. is set to hit the hip-hop scene in the new year with some debut material.
