Young Thug Gets Crucified On Twitter For André 3000 Disrespect

People are not pleased with Young Thug’s comments on Andre 3000.

Both Thug and the legendary 3 Stacks became trending topics on Thursday (November 26), following a viral clip of Thug talking about him on T.I.’s expediTIously podcast. After explaining he never listened to Dre growing up and had no desire to work with him because he feels the Outkast rapper doesn’t embrace the younger generation, social media had some things to say.

“Young Thug says he hasn’t worked with Andre 3000 because he feels Dre looks down on the new generation. I feel like Thug made that up in his head,” journalist Justin Hunte tweeted.

People were also quick to point out that Dre has sung Thug’s praises multiple times, from interviews to stages.

“Back in 2016 at Phife Dawg’s funeral, Andre 3000 personally shouted out Young Thug when talking about the new generation of rappers changing the tide of music. Let this show that EGO is the death of men,” another tweet read.

During his conversation with Tip, Thug compared his time with 3 Stacks to his time with Elton John, and noted why the latter was a more ideal experience for him.

“The difference between Elton John and Andre is, Elton John like to kiss ass, [where] Andre likes his ass kissed,” Thug said. “He’s just more of a fan type of nigga, to the point I’m like, ‘Nigga, let’s do music!’ He’s like, ‘N-gga, bet.’ Andre more like, ‘This is his secretary.’”

    1. Just watch a feature coming up soon…just like cardi b and offset divorce, it’s all a show folks…shoot, megan and tory probably still staright effen …some nobody comes out and say biggie was wack or they are the best rapper alive and they get a headline

    2. Straight up proof of how delusional the new generation of hiphop is. We’re more connected with info than ever, and this bobo out here literally quoted the opposite of reality. Did dude miss Andre praising him? No way an ATL rapper didn’t hear that 3K praised his simple ass. We are watching a delusional idiot project his ignorance to the entire world unprovoked…yikes

    3. Gunna better anyway. Outkast is so important to the legacy of HipHop. YG important to ATL legacy. Enjoy your slice of the pie while you have it but next you’ll be eating your words

    4. Andre 3000, who fought against the stereotype that southern rap/hip hop is not lyrical/conceptual/skillful just club music. Young Thug, who fits this stereotype but gets nominated or win awards. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE DONT ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT HIP HOP!!!

    5. How a young rapper from the south gonna dis the man who boldly stated to the world
“The South Got Something To Say !!!!”
and literally put Atlanta on the hip-hop map !!!!
      smmh

    6. This new generation is made up of gun carrying, mumble rapping, pill junkies, culture appropriation, no respect having, uneducated, fake Internet life, retards.

      1. Yea I don’t get. It outkast is top five rap groups of all time. And are pioneers for southern hip hop. New generation diesnt look back on how they got here. And how doors were opened for them.

    7. I don’t get all the anger here, like maybe some of Young Thug’s words are true. In a nutshell he said Andre 3000 acts too boujee and wants his ass kissed. Given that he rarely collaborated with other artist and has never given them a platform, that might be true. I mean he went as far as to say Elton John was more down to earth and welcoming to him.

    8. Can you blame 3 stacks? Comes from a era when hip hop was actually music songs were actually songs full of skills and talent soul and passion. What’s this era? Face tats and never been to jail or killed anybody auto tune gangsters saturated garbage and millions of streams to keep perpetuating honestly poison to the masses. So yeah don’t blame 3 stacks at all. Shits garbage I’d rather be off the radar and play my flute at a park too.

    9. “Elton John was eager to ride my dick asap and Andre 3000 didn’t want to when i wanted him, so i hate him now.”
      -Young Thug probably

    10. Only thing I know about Young Thug is he wears dresses and acts like a queer. I guess that’s cool now in Hip Hop. Andre 3000 kind of did that back then too, but at least he has talent.

    11. “Andre like getting his ass kissed” This coming from Young Thug who showed up to his Wyclef Jean music video shoot and apparently didn’t get into any kind of trouble.
