After raiding DMX’s home last month, Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies confiscated 12 pitbulls,as well as a quarter-ounce of marijuana, weapons and three deceased dogs.
According to the Associated Press, new developments concerning the deceased dogs have arisen; one of the dogs had been inflicted with bite wounds, whereas another had trauma to its abdomen. Sheriff Joe Arpaio stated that the cause of death has yet to be determined.
The third buried dog was reportedly burned so badly that lab results turned out to be inconclusive. “Someone’s going to have to
pay for this,” said Arpaio. “We have 12 dogs who were abused and three dogs
buried in the yard, someone’s going to have to pay.”
In X’s defense, his attorney Murray Richman said X had not been at the home for months, and that he had been employing caretakers and veterinarians to take care of the animals during his leave.

that other persons have been,” questioned Richman. “Is it because of the
celebrity nature?”
