Tory Lanez (real name Daystar Peterson) is apparently Public Enemy Number One. Following the Megan Thee Stallion shooting incident, which resulted in the Canadian artist’s arrest earlier this month, a Change.org petition started to circulate asking for the 28-year-old rapper to be deported back to his native country.
The description for the petition reads, “Deport Tory Lanez (Daystar Peterson) back to Canada and ban him from coming to America FOREVER. This little 5’3 man with a big ego has contributed nothing to the American Economy, and promotes violence and violence against women. Furthermore, he should be banned from the United States FOREVER for intentionally trying to harm Megan the Stallion. SEND HIM BACK TO CANADA ASAP!”
Meg addressed the incident during an Instagram Live session on Monday (July 27) but didn’t mention Lanez, who is reportedly being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department for his possible involvement. She did, however, confirm she was shot in both of her feet.

It was nothing for y’all to start making fake stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do shit.”
Tory Lanez Arrested On Gun Charge With Megan Thee Stallion In The Car
Lanez was arrested on July 12 and charged with felony possession of a concealed weapon. He’s due back in court in October. As of publication time, the petition to kick Lanez out of the United States has over 15,300 signatures and that number is steadily climbing.
