Megan Thee Stallion tearfully addressed the Tory Lanez shooting incident in an Instagram Live session on Monday (July 27).
She recounted the “scary” incident and called it the “worst experience” of her life. She also fired back at people, especially “grown men,” who were making light of the situation — and 50 Cent was one of them.
But shortly after Meg’s video started making the rounds, the television mogul had a change of heart and realized he’d wronged the 300 Entertainment artist. He re-shared part of Meg’s IG Live session on his own Instagram account and apologized for taking part in the bullying.
“Damn I didn’t think this shit was real,” he wrote in the caption. “It sounded so crazy @theestallion i’m glad your feeling better and i hope you can accept my apology. I posted a meme that was floating around. I wouldn’t have done that if i knew you was really hurt sorry.”

Meg revealed she’d been shot earlier this month following a night out with Lanez and Kylie Jenner. Witnesses at the scene said they saw people arguing in a black SUV and several shots were fired, but the SUV took off before police arrived.
Once officers caught up to the vehicle, they found Lanez and Megan inside the car. Lanez was arrested for felony possession of a concealed weapon, while Meg was taken to the hospital to treat injuries on her feet.
As Meg explained in the recent video, she was shot in both of her feet and needed surgery to remove the bullets. The traumatic event did appear to have at least one silver lining — it reminded Meg who she is.

“I don’t expect none of y’all muthafuckas to feel sorry for me, but it’s just a respect thing,” she said. “Somebody gonna take care of your ass. Karma gonna take care of your ass — I don’t gotta do it! But anyway, a bitch is alive and well and strong as fuck. I’m ready to get back to regular programming with my own Hot Girl shit, but I definitely learned I ain’t have to be so nice to every muthafucka.”
The Los Angeles Police Department is reportedly investigating Lanez’s possible involvement in the shooting.
