Lil Baby knows he’s become a coveted guest, so he’s setting a hefty price tag for any features going forward. The Quality Control Music artist declared he would only jump on a song if he’s paid $100,000 on Friday (June 26).
“At this point it’s safe to say I want 100k for a feature,” he wrote via Twitter.
Lil Baby has reached new career heights in 2020 as his sophomore album My Turn became his first project to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The LP’s had some impressive staying power too, returning to the top spot 13 weeks after its debut.
My Turn was originally released in February, but Lil Baby followed it up with a deluxe edition featuring six new songs in May. A month after dropping the expanded version of the album, the Atlanta-bred rapper shared a single titled “The Bigger Picture” in wake of Minneapolis police killing George Floyd. The track became Lil Baby’s highest-charting song to date, ascending to No. 3 on the Hot 100.
