Mannie Fresh Replaces T-Pain In Scott Storch Instagram Live Battle

It looks like Mannie Fresh will battle veteran producer Scott Storch on Instagram Live, replacing Storch’s original opponent, T-Pain. The festivities kick off at 9 p.m. EST on Wednesday (April 1).

Swizz Beatz made the announcement via Twitter, writing, “Attention. We have a change of plans for tonight !!! We now have @manniefresh vs scottstorchofficial 9pm est on live. Let’s the games begin !!!!! @timbaland the paperwork is fully in.”

T-Pain wanted to make it clear it was Swizz and Timbaland’s decision to have him replaced.

“Bro. I was ready,” he tweeted on Wednesday (April 1). “Dub or L I stand behind my shit. Tim and Swizz hit me and said they were lookin at comments and came to the fact that producer vs songwriter just doesn’t make sense. I didn’t back out lol I was ready to have fun on live shit. Its comin tho.”

Mannie and Storch are among the many artists taking to Instagram Live during the coronavirus pandemic in an effort to stay connected to their fans and keep themselves occupied at the same time. D-Nice, Lord Finesse, DJ Premier, Erykah Badu and Questlove are just a sliver of those participating in the online “social distancing parties.”

Producers Hit-Boy and Boi-1Da recently faced off on the social media platform where they played snippets of new Drake, Big Sean and Nipsey Hussle songs.

        1. Where lmao….big hits..nahh…he had hit..but we talking bout m

MANNIE FRESH..THE MAN THAT SINGLE HANDEDLY GAVE YOU HIT AFTER HIT WITH CASH MONEY RECORDS..

          1. You and so many OBVIOUSLY don’t know who Scott Storch is!! He is known as the Piano Man! He is behind some of the greatest Dr. Dre hits ever!! The piano riff for Still Dre… Scott Storch! The piano beats for the CHRONIC, Scott Storch

            1. We know who Scott Storch is, fool. Yes, he has lots of hits and helped out Dre, but he still doesn’t stand a chance against Mannie Fresh. Mannie played a big part in shifting the hip hop sound from East and West to the South, and made not only hits but also classic bangers off the old Cash Money albums. How You Luv That, It’s All On U, Chopper City, Soulja Rags, 400 Degreez (be ready once he drops that “Ha” and “Back That Azz Up”), Guerilla Warfare. And he has hits in the 2000s as well. Still Fly, Go DJ, Top Back, Big Shit Poppin, And Then What, Used To, Mahogany off Wayne’s new album, etc etc. Y’all really got Mannie fucked up, look up his catalogue.

    1. Dr. Dre – “Still D.R.E.”
      Beyoncé – “Naughty Girl”
      Terror Squad – “Lean Back”
      Chris Brown – “Run It!”
The Roots – “You Got Me”
Justin Timberlake – “Cry Me a River”
      50 Cent – “Candy Shop”
Mario – “Let Me Love You”
      I can keep going…

      1. You getting a Lil too generous with the credits, Scott didn’t produce Still D.R.E (Dr. Dre and Mel-Man did) nor did he produce Cry Me a River (Timbaland did) Scott Storch did write and play keys on both songs though but didn’t produce them.
