It makes sense 2 Chainz, the creator of one of rap’s most beloved birthday celebration anthems “Birthday Song,” closed out the decade at LeBron James’ 35th birthday party.
2 Chainz linked up with the NBA icon, his entourage and Los Angeles Lakers teammates at the Sunset Tower in Hollywood on Monday (December 30), according to TMZ.
The night began at James’s posh black tie-and-gown soiree, in which they danced to several of the Atlanta-bred lyricist’s tunes and ate a three-layer birthday cake that had his LBJ insignia on it.
They then moved on to the Crazy Girls strip club with James’ wife Savannah and the rest of his crew.

After the Lakers beat the Dallas Mavericks in Los Angeles on Sunday (December 29), James joked with reporters about technically not wishing for his 35th birthday celebration.
“I don’t wish because I gotta pay for it,” James said. “I gotta pay for my own damn birthday party.”
This marks another footnote in the friendship of James and 2 Chainz.
In February, 2 Chainz appointed him as the A&R for his latest album Rap Or Go To League. 2 Chainz also handed James a gold chain to honor him surpassing Michael Jordan for fourth place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.
