HipHopDX Premiere

The always innovative Deca and collaborator Neon Brown have crafted a ridiculous remake of John Carpenter’s ‘80s cult classic They Live for their new video “Zick?” — complete with really bad mullet wigs and the late Roddy Piper’s infamous aviator sunglasses.

Co-directed by Jeremy Dehitta and Sloan Copeland, the visual features the classic Carpenter costumes, subliminal messages advertised to the American people and the crazy fight scene between Piper (played by Deca) and Frank Armitage (played by Neon).

Following the brief altercation, they head to their local neighborhood bar only to realize they aren’t safe there either.

“Zick?” comes from Deca and Neon’s collaborative project The Donner Party, which is currently available on all streaming platforms.
