It’s that time again when HipHopDX rolls out the annual Turkey Awards. Par for the course, there was no shortage of bonehead moves that took place this year.

For the 2019 edition, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Lord Jamar and Tay-K top the list as artists who have behaved in such abhorrent ways, we had no choice but to label them a turkey.

6ix9ine, who turned the government’s star witness in the case against Nine Trey members Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack earlier this year, earned the appropriately titled Golden Snitch Award, while Lord Jamar earned the newly minuted VladTV Couch Potato Award for his constant musings on Eminem.

Meanwhile, Tay-K was given The Keeping It Too Real Award for not only receiving 55 years behind bars for murder but also getting indicted for yet another murder — while in jail.

An honorable mention goes to DJ Khaled for his Tyler, The Creator rant. After he threw a fit about IGOR nabbing the No. 1 Billboard 200 spot over Father Of Asahd, he’s been awarded the We The Second Best Award.

There are a slew of other awards this year, including The Most Determined Stan of the Year, The Hide Ya Kids and The I Don’t Want To Get Paid.
