Los Angeles underground Hip Hop staple Myka 9 is back with another new video, this time for “BA$$.” Crafted by producer/comic creator Freematik, the track comes from the Freestyle Fellowship MC’s Teleported 2 project, which is being released one song and music video at a time until its full release next year.
The bass driven track features Myka’s frenetic pace — and an obvious nod to Public Enemy — while the video bursts with psychedelic imagery of the Teleported 2 universe as Myka enjoys the L.A. nightlife.
Teleported 2 is an audio visual collaboration between Myka and Freematik,who teamed up with the Project Blowed vet years ago to create original music for the Dark Moon motion comic series. Their artistic partnership organically evolved into the Teleported albums and music video series as well as the special offshoot print comic in which Myka will appear as a character in the Dark Moon universe.
