Snapchat Announces “Tekashi 6ix9ine Vs. The World” Documentary Series

Snapchat is dipping its toes into the Tekashi 6ix9ine drama. The app’s parent company Snap Inc. has announced seven new original shows for its video platform, including a documentary series about the controversial rapper.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Vs. The World is described as an “up-to-the-minute docuseries” covering the disgraced artist’s rise and fall in the music industry. Complex will produce the series with subsequent seasons covering different subjects.

“Each season of Snap’s new franchise Vs. The World will explore the life and journey of some of the biggest names in Hip Hop, sports and entertainment culture, with exclusive footage, commentary and a totally original perspective,” Snap said in a press release.

6ix9ine has found himself back in the spotlight after testifying at the trial against alleged Nine Trey Gangsta Blood members Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack.

As part of a cooperation agreement with the government, the polarizing artist revealed many details about the Nine Trey’s inner workings. He also spoke about the gang affiliations of rappers such as Cardi B, Jim Jones, Casanova and Trippie Redd during his time on the witness stand.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Vs. The World is scheduled to premiere in fall 2019. Snapchat users can watch Snap Originals on the Discover page to the right of the camera.

    1. Should be Tekashi Vs Himself. The world ddnt do shit to this clown. He fucked himself out of everything. But seeing how shit works these days he’ll be out and back to making money. The world loves to keep dumb fucks famous.

    2. Did his mother ever teach him to keep his mouth shut in Mexico or raising him up in Brooklyn. Did she ever tell him that both places has the same violence and to never tell on your friends I don’t care what they did in life …she should of told him that loose lips sink ships…

    3. Tekashi a real one. He be out soon and will continue living a lavish life while all the ridiculous gang thugs are getting they bootyholes diddled in prison. Tekashi won.

    4. This guy will make a comeback, maybe even a movie explaining his side. At this point he’s a snitch… doesn’t mean his words are lies

    5. Is Snapchat making documentaries about Snoop? No. Why? Because nobody gives a fuck about that old ass washed up has been loser. But rest assured Tekashi documentary gonna be watched by tens and tens of millions of people. Tekashi stay winning, he be out soon too.
