Former Suave House Recording Artist Tela is wanted for $128,000 in unpaid child support. The Memphis resident has neglected to pay child support for the past five years. A warrant for his arrest was issued after he failed to report to Memphis and Shelby County Juvenile court.

“We’ve been looking pretty much everywhere trying to identify where he is or where he might be,” said Mitch
Morgan, child support director of the Memphis & Shelby County Juvenile Court. “Even to the
extent where we thought he was going be here doing a concert in
Memphis. He’s really kind of self employed and owns the record label
and that record label is in Texas, California and then Georgia, and it’s
difficult for us,” added Morgan.

Tela’s attorney says the rapper plans to return to Memphis is soon and handle the situation.
