Meek Mill & Meghan Trainor Donate $400K To Chicago Youth Groups On Behalf Of Inspire Change

JAY-Z’s partnership with the NFL has been met with scrutiny, but Roc Nation’s involvement in the league’s Inspire Change initiative is lending a helping hand to some youth groups in Chicago.

According to TMZ, Meek Mill and Meghan Trainor — two of the Inspire Change advocates for the 2019-2020 NFL season — will donate $400,000 on behalf of the program to two organizations helping at-risk kids. Both youth groups were selected and vetted by Roc Nation.

Meek and Trainor will visit Crusher’s Club, one of the youth organizations receiving the donation, on Thursday (September 5) prior to performing at the NFL Kickoff event in Chicago’s Grant Park.

BBF (Better Boys Foundation) Family Services, the other recipient, is being visited by Rapsody and Vic Mensa on Wednesday (September 4).

Chicago is just the beginning for Inspire Change as Roc Nation, the league and the Players Coalition are reportedly expected to make donations to two groups in every NFL city.

    1. People can talk all the shit they want but they’re putting their money where their mouth is, and I don’t even like meek mill.

      1. You can donate to at risk groups but which is noble but they is really neutralizing the original cause. The cause is Social Injustice. Cops killing black kids. Again this seems like a smoke screen this is something these rappers do on a regular basis.

        1. ‘At risk’ kids are more at risk of having police interaction. Attempting to lower the odds of that interaction is a start.

      2. Also, don’t get it twisted. Neither Meek Mill or Meghan Trainor are pulling $400k our of their account and ponying up the money. This is nothing new and NFL money that they give out every year to say that they are doing something for the community. They are just now going to put Jay, Meek, Vic, Meghan and Rapsody’s name on it for their benefit.
