Street Radio, comprised of J. Math and Jimi Kendrix, have teamed up with Styles P. to both A&R and produce 6 tracks for the emcee’s upcoming album Ghost Sessions.

“It was crazy to be able to sit with Styles and see what direction he’s
trying to go. He had a lot of deep verses that were never really released,”
says J. Math. “Some
were just ideas, but we were able to turn them into songs with full
soundscapes. We focused on sculpting the sound to be as impactful as the
lyrics.”

Steet Radio produced the tracks “Poor Folk,” featuring Joell Ortiz (and also featured on Ortiz’ debut album The Brick: Bodega Chronicles), “Fuck The Police,” and “No Remorse,” featuring J-Hood.

The album also features Kool G. Rap, AZ, Cormega, and Jimi Kendrix.“We’ve been writing a lot of hooks with our tracks. We like to present songs with
some kind of direction, not just a beat. We always got some crazy themes and
sound effects; it only made sense to start jumping in the booth too,”
says Jimi.“Some may be
surprised to see I did the hook on
‘Pain’, but you gonna start seeing a lot more
of that from us.”
