Surveillance cameras at a Swedish establishment were rolling when A$AP Rocky’s bodyguard engaged in a confrontation with alleged assault victim Mustafa Jafari.
Although the bodyguard hasn’t been charged in the ongoing case, he clearly chokes Jafari, lifts him off the ground and throws him down the street in the video footage. According to TMZ, the clip pokes a hole in the prosecution’s argument.
It was captured before the street fight erupted and before Jafari attempted to punch the bodyguard and hit him with his headphones. The confusing part is Jafari wasn’t charged in the altercation because he was allegedly acting in self-defense. If that’s the case, the bodyguard would be considered the aggressor.
Rocky was in court on Tuesday (July 30) and pleaded not guilty to the charges. During sworn testimony, Jafari said he thought Rocky and his entourage were going to “kill” him.

Rocky’s attorney, Slobodan Jovicic, described Jafari as a “storyteller” and is looking forward to grilling him on the witness stand when the trial resumes on Thursday (August 1).
The A$AP Mob co-founder was arrested on July 2 after turning himself in to Swedish authorities. In the wake of his arrest, several of his peers have launched a boycott on Sweden, including T.I., ScHoolboy Q and Tyler, The Creator.
