Carl Jones, a producer on Adult Swim’s, The Boondocks as well as the illustrator on Aaron McGruder’s syndicated daily comic strip Boondocks, has created a line of toys called HOODIEZ.
Jones will appear at Meltdown Comics, located in Los Angeles, on Saturday, for the official HOODIEZ toy release signing and gallery mixer from 2PM to 10PM. The HOODIEZ are a series of urban vinyl toys that consist of five original characters according to the press release — Boogie, Jazz, Noc, Scrapz and Flip.
Each figurine will have various exaggerated, cartoonish features and range from 4″ to 6″ tall. They’re limited to a 1,000 standard edition, a 200 limited grayscale edition and a 200 limited all-black edition.
