New York, NY

Rick & Morty superfan Kanye West has an open invitation to appear on the hit show. Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, the creators of the Adult Swim series, confirmed their interest in getting Yeezy involved when The Blast asked about him at WarnerMedia’s upfronts presentation on Wednesday (May 15).

“We fucking love Kanye, man,” Roiland said. “[He’s] a kindred spirit, genius, visionary. If that guy had the support to do all the ideas he has in his head, it would be fucking Elon Musk 2.0.”

As far as a potential collaboration, Harmon noted Kanye is “always welcome.” Roiland threw out the idea of Yeezy doing a voice on the show before Harmon upped the ante.

“I’m giving him an episode, I’m making it official,” Harmon said. “We have 70! He can have one. Kanye, you can have an episode.”

Roiland added, “Come hang out, write a Rick & Morty episode with us. It’ll be the Kanye episode. I’m so down. That would be fucking amazing actually.”

Kanye has made no secret about his admiration for Rick & Morty in the past. Last year, he said the animated series is his favorite television show.

“This is my favorite show,” he wrote on Twitter. “I’ve seen every episode at least 5 times each.”

Roiland, who voices both of the titular characters, returned the love last summer by providing Rick & Morty’s vocals on a birthday song for Kanye.
