SZA Says She Was Racially Profiled At Sephora

SZA’s celebrity status apparently didn’t stop one Sephora employee from racially profiling the Top Dawg Entertainment singer. On Tuesday (April 30), the Oscar-nominated artist detailed an incident that allegedly occurred at a Calabasas location of the cosmetics retailer.

“Lmao Sandy Sephora location 614 Calabasas called security to make sure I wasn’t stealing,” SZA wrote via Twitter. “We had a long talk. U have a blessed day Sandy.”

She added, “Can a bitch cop her fenty in peace er whut.”

In an ironic twist of fate, SZA actually worked at Sephora prior to her rise to fame. She spoke about her time working for the retailer’s skin-care department in a 2018 interview with Refinery29.

Later this month, SZA is scheduled to perform at the 2019 Soundset Festival in Minnesota. She’ll also be performing at the 2019 Governors Ball Music Festival in New York.

      1. You must have never heard of the saying Don’t judge a book by it’s cover…a well dressed person can be the biggest crook in the world…ever heard of the mafia?

    1. look at how her titty pops up in the picture!! she was called cos the mall didnt want prostitutes soliciting customers.

    2. Shit, I’d be following her around too like “hurry up and buy”. I don’t play! Don’t jack from my stash, ho.

    3. Nobody can suspend a person who isn’t white of stealing nowadays without being accused of racial profiling LMAO. They don’t realise that things like this actually only hurt them, not help them
