West Coast Hip-Hop legends Quik (formerly DJ Quik) and AMG have reunited to for a new group, TheFixxers, according to a press release from Interscope Records. Creating more of a buzz than the fact that they have formed a new group is the fact that they have recently inked a deal with Interscope.
Their brand new single, “Ca U Werk With Dat” is in heavy rotation, captivating current fans and creating new ones. They duo first began working together in the early 90s, making quest appearances on each other’s albums. Their synergy was noticed on AMG’s 1991 hit, “Bitch Better Have My Money.”
“Quik and I have a music chemistry that is undeniable and we literally have records to prove it. We are known for making the girls want to dance and the dudes bob their heads. People want to have fun when they go out, man, so it’s only right that we give them something to work with,” AMG said.
Both Quik and AMG are known for their passionate writing and production skills, and creating timeless hits.

“I had no doubt in my mind, I knew that we would be recognized by the best. I’m thankful that we ended up being at a great label like Interscope. It’s home to the hottest artists out right now, so it’s definitely a good look for The Fixxers. I’m looking forward to a fruitful relationship,” explains Quik.
