Offset desperately tried to win Cardi B back after she announced their split last December. Shortly after the breakup, the Migos super rapper crashed his estranged wife’s headlining set at Rolling Loud Los Angeles and presented her with flowers that spelled out, “Take Me Back Cardi.”

During a recent appearance on The Ellen Show, Offset revealed why he decided to make such a grand gesture. He reminded Ellen he proposed to her in front of thousands of people in Philadelphia, so he figured why not show the world just how sorry he was.

“I love my wife so it’s serious,” he said. “It’s not a game to me. We have schedules and we have shows and I just felt like, if I gave a break between time, I can’t give that break between time. It’s just me being vulnerable, I guess, and it kinda bit me with the response of the people.

“But that’s why all men don’t be trying to be vulnerable. Because when you do it, it’s like there’s something wrong with it either way.”

Evidently, Offset’s attempts to woo her back into his arms were effective. The couple has seemingly reconciled and are working on their marriage.

Elsewhere in the interview, Offset was asked how much cash he carries on him and he admits he usually has about $100,000 on him at all times. He also talked about his recent Father Of 4album and his failed attempts to meet his father.

Offset’s segment wraps up with a performance of “Legacy” featuring Travis Scott.
