Nipsey Hussle Confirms Upcoming Joint Album With Meek Mill

Nipsey Hussle recently sat down for an interview with Real 92.3 in Los Angeles where he revealed he was working on an album with Meek Mill. Meek mentioned he wanted to work with Nipsey last December and it sounds like the idea is coming to fruition.

“We’ve been cutting ideas and just getting in,” Nipsey says at the 8:14-minute mark. “We got a couple records that’s gon’ go off for the summer.

“It’s not hard at all. We just gotta lock in and get the records done … We would like to come summer time if we gon’ do it. We just gotta lock in.”

Meek dropped his Championships album in November 2018 while Nipsey’s debut studio effort, Victory Lap, arrived last February.

Victory Lap earned the Compton rapper his first Grammy nomination in the Best Rap Album category. He ultimately lost to Cardi B whose Invasion Of Privacy project wound up with the gilded trophy.

Elsewhere in the interview, Nipsey talks about the Grammys, his real estate ventures, relationship with Diddy and almost signing with Maybach Music Group.

      1. Crenshaw is not a city. Hussle is from Los Angeles. Hell you can even consider Compton part of Los Angeles. Compton is just a really small city near Gardena.

          1. Yes it is…part of the infamous South Central that was burned up during the 1992 Rodney King Aquittal Riots

          1. 100k IS small lol. My not very big city of Rochester NY, home of the Kodak Camera, has 210k people. And that’s maybe… An average city at best? We’re not comparing California Cities to Kansas cities haha.

    1. I’m Rapper and Singer, i’m also a writer.
