Swollen Members vet Madchild has returned with a new video for “Death Race,” one of the lead singles from his forthcoming Demons album. Directed by Luke Connor, the visual finds the the Battle Axe Warrior looking back on his life as a using addict and how he got to where he is today without sacrificing who he is.

Throughout the track, the Canadian-bred MC also maintains he’ll never be one to chase trends.

“‘Death Race’ is the second single from my upcoming album Demons is basically about staying in your own lane,” Madchild tells HipHopDX. “I’ve never switched styles to what I think might be more current with pop culture, I’ve always felt that’s a fail. Don’t get that confused with evolving or growing as an artist. I’m talking about emulating what’s trendy.”
