Post Malone is the latest artist to publicly condemn R. Kelly following Lifetime’s airing of its scathing docu-series, Surviving R. Kellyand he applauses the artists who have made the executive decision to pull their collaborations with Kelly off streaming services.
When TMZ caught up with the Beerbongs & Bentley‘s artist, he was at first hesitant in answering any questions about R. Kelly but eventually blurts out that Kelly has done a lot of “fucked up shit.”
“Essentially, I think it’s the right thing to do,” Posty says.
The Grammy Award-nominated recording artist’s reaction to the “R. Kelly question” is in stark contrast to the answer French Montana gave to TMZ, which was to let The Pied Piper enjoy his legacy.

French later retracted his statement and now says he stands by his accusers.
“Let me be clear. My heart is with the victims,” the “Unforgettable” rapper tweeted. “I never thought the people I looked up to as a kid, who sang and danced and gave me hope to become a superstar would become drug addicts, child molesters (sic) and rapists. I am hoping we as a culture create better leaders. We need them.”
Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Chance the Rapper and Ciara are among some of the artists who have yanked the music they made with Kelly off streaming platforms or are in the process of doing so.
His record label RCA even put the pause on releasing any new R. Kelly music.
