Toni Braxton and Bryan “Birdman” Williams have appeared to fix whatever relationship issues they were experiencing. Roughly a month after the veteran R&B singer hinted her engagement to the Cash Money co-founder was off, Birdman has posted an Instagram photo that indicates they’re back together.

On Friday (February 1), the Big Tymers rapper shared a photo of himself with his arm around Braxton.

“4LiFe @tonibraxton,” he wrote in the caption.

On January 1, Braxton captioned a photo of herself, “Starting a new chapter isn’t always an easy choice…but ALWAYS choose to be chosen,” she wrote in the caption. “Cheers to a new year,” which kicked off the breakup chatter.

Birdman seemed to echo her sentiments with a “it’s over” message posted to his Instagram Story that same day.

But late last month, Birdman was spotted at Braxton’s show at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, waiting to surprise her. Neither party has commented publicly on the status of their engagement, but the photo looks like a promising start for the couple.

Toni Braxton and Cash Money co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams were rumored to be heading to the altar soon, but now it looks like that fairytale has come to an end.

On New Years Day (January 1), the seasoned R&B singer shared a photo of herself to her Instagram page, dropping a not-so-subtle hint their relationship was over.

“Starting a new chapter isn’t always an easy choice…but ALWAYS choose to be chosen,” she wrote in the caption. “Cheers to a new year.”

Compounding Braxton’s sentiment, Birdman shared (and promptly deleted) an Instagram Story that read simply, “It’s over.” He then wiped his account clean.

The breakup seems to have come rather suddenly. In November 2018, Braxton told talk show host Wendy Williams there was a “70 percent chance” they’d be married by the end of 2018.

“We almost had a date,” she said. “Well, we had two dates. But we were doing Braxton Family Values and we were going through a little drama. And I was like, ‘The wedding is a good thing to get all the sisters together.’ [But] I couldn’t get us all together.”

Shortly after her appearance on the show, Braxton sent out a desperate plea on Twitter after her Louis Vuitton carry-on bag went missing on a Delta flight. She was seemingly most upset about missing her diamond engagement ring that was inside the bag.

Although Braxton’s bag was recovered, the ring wasn’t found.

The couple got engaged in February after Birdman presented Braxton with the $5 million dollar ring.
