Although 50 Cent and other Power cast members are still mourning the death of crew mate Pedro Jimenez, the Hip Hop heavyweight is already back to business. On Tuesday (December 11), 50 revealed to his 21.5 million Instagram followers he’d been in the studio earlier this week with longtime associate Eminem and pop star Ed Sheeran.

“I recorded a song last night with Eminem and ED Sheeran,” he wrote alongside a photo of himself. “I had fun doing it we got some heat.”

50 and Em have collaborated on numerous cuts in the past, including 2003’s “Don’t Push Me” from 50’s seminal Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ album.

The Sheeran connection also makes sense. The British crooner contributed to Shady’s Revival album on the track “River.”

With 50 so focused on his acting career, it’s seemingly left little time for music. The veteran rapper released a full-length studio in 2014 Animal Ambitionand followed up with The Kanan Tape in 2015. He also had plans to drop another project called Street King Immortal, which has become more like folklore at this point. The album was scheduled to be released back in 2011 — and his fans are still waiting.
