HipHopDX Premiere

JUNO Award-winning Hip Hop artist/producer Classified has resurfaced with a new visual for “10 Years.” Directed by Harv Glazer, the video follows a young boy as he enters adolescence and eventually, adulthood. Ultimately, it’s a lesson to stay in the present.

“I’m excited for you guys to see this,” Classified tells HipHopDX. “We shot this in Enfield, Nova Scotia with a couple of my daughter’s friends and a couple of my boys. It’s life in three minutes and 30 seconds from a 10-year-old boy to a 30-year-old man. Enjoy the good times when they are happening.”

“10 Years” comes from Classified’s latest project, Tomorrow Could Be The Day Things Change. It serves as his first studio album since 2016’s Grateful and the 16th album in his stacked discography.

The Nova Scotia native just headlined the Canadian Classic Tour, which featured fellow Canadian Hip Hop vets Choclair and Maestro Fresh Wes.
