Victoria Natt, her husband, and their 14 children narrowly avoided death after waking up to find their house engulfed in flames last week. The family has been staying in a hotel ever since. As dire as the situation seemed, they found the holiday miracle they needed — courtesy of rapper Jeezy and their community.
After hearing the story, the rapper — on behalf of his non-profit, Street Dreamz Foundation — hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for the family, and also offered to pay their hotel bill for the remainder of the year as they look for a new home.
“[It’s] what Atlanta is all about,” the rapper said of his actions.

Speaking to that sentiment, a crowdfunding page also helped raise an additional $27,000 for the family.
