Los Angeles, CA – Kanye West is currently gallivanting around Uganda where he’s wrapping up his Yandhi album. But, frequent collaborator Ty Dolla $ign is also hard at work.

During an Instagram Live session, the multi-talented artist gave an update on his forthcoming album with the G.O.O.D. Music mastermind.

“The album is coming,” he says around the 8-minute mark. “I’m almost done with it now. Just putting the last, final touches on it. Me and Kanye are making it together. They left to Africa though. I’m doing my parts now then when we get back together, we’ll finish it.”

The idea for an album with ‘Ye first materialized during the Wyoming rollout for ye. Ty$ assisted Kanye on three songs from the album, including “Violent Crimes,” “Wouldn’t Leave” featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR and “All Mine.”

“That’s one of the best combinations ever,” Kanye said at the time. “Ty is one of the strongest artists we have living, and anything I can do to support, get around, produce, take my hands, chop up, I’m with it.”

Ty$ is also getting ready to unleash MihTy — his collaborative album with Jeremih — on October 26.
