HipHopDX Premiere: Shortly after releasing the video for “One Shot Kill,” Mestizo and The Heavy Twelves are back with another new single titled “Pearl Gates.”
The track is taken from the collective’s recently announced Big Bad Death EP, which Mestizo says will be his “last and final rap record.”
Over brooding drums and a frenetic melody, the Los Angeles underground rap vet sails through each verse.

“Karma will catch you,” Mestizo explains to HipHopDX. “It’ll test you, then stretch you, strip you of your destined dreams that make you think you’re special.”
The Big Bad Death EP is expected to arrive on August 24 via Fake Four Inc.
