In the third installment of A$AP Mob’s AWGEDVD,Yasiin Bey throws his two cents in on controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. While watching 6ix9ine’s video for his breakout hit “GUMMO,” an unimpressed Bey looks bored to tears.
“Why everybody acting like this is new,” Bey says in the clip. “This is a version of the same old shit.”
Shortly after watching the video, he’s heard saying, “This is the most depressing shit I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Since the 2017 release of “GUMMO,” 6ix9ine’s stock has continued to rise. On Tuesday (July 24), Nicki Minaj — who recently teamed up with him in the “FEFE” video — announced he’s joining her and Future on the monster NICKIHNDRXX Tour.
