Although Tekashi 6ix9ine is currently in the hospital after reportedly being robbed and kidnapped, he still delivered “FEFE” as promised.
Boasting a monster feature from Nicki Minaj and production from Murda Beatz, the song adheres to the same gritty and raw style that got 6ix9ine noticed with “GUMMO.” At the same time, an airy hook from Black Barbie balances out the track.
On Saturday (July 20), the controversial Brooklyn rapper shared a video to his Instagram account predicting magic on the Billboard Hot 100.

It’s been a tumultuous couple of weeks for Tekashi 6ix9ine. First, he was arrested at JFK International Airport, sent to Rikers Island and forced to post $150,000 bail. Then, he had to turn himself in to Houston authorities and post another $5,000 bail to secure his freedom again.
Now, it appears the controversial Brooklyn rapper is refocused on music. In an Instagram video posted on Friday (July 20), 6ix9ine revealed the “FEFE” single is on its way and believes it will hit the Billboard Hot 100.
“Yo, I don’t think y’all understand how hard ‘FEFE’ is. This shit drops on Sunday,” he says in the clip. “It’s so hard I wanna drop that shit today. Remind you, I’m in no beef right now. I’m in no beef. I’m into no type of publicity. Watch this shit go 8 for 8 on Billboard.”
