Belly was on the receiving end of a beatdown during the second weekend of the 2018 Coachella Festival. Despite being a performer at the festival, the Mumble Rap MC was punched repeatedly by a group of security guards during The Weeknd’s set.
Video of the incident surfaced online, showing multiple people throwing punches at Belly. Sources confirmed the altercation involved security, according to Billboard.
Belly was in good spirits about the situation, not letting the fight ruin his festival experience.

“No negative bullshit can steal my joy,” he tweeted on Saturday (April 21). “I performed the best show of my life, on 4/20 at Coachella ‼️I really came from nothing, and I’m still here.. it’s gotta mean something.”

Earlier on Saturday, Belly noted his attackers never managed to knock him to the ground.
