T-Pain's Bad Joke About Domestic Violence Raises Some Eyebrows

T-Pain and his wife of 15 years, Amber Najm, evidently went out on Monday night (April 9) and posed for a photo in front of mural that read, “i love you so much.” But in the comment section, the Auto-Tune Godfather wrote a few sentences that didn’t exactly resonate well with everyone. Although his sentiment started off with nothing but love, it soon took a hard left.

“I love you so much baby,” he wrote. “I see ppl hatin on us so much and I bet they’ve never experienced love nowhere near the levels you give me. You’ve dealt with so much bullshit from me and came out of it a new woman with new goals and I can’t believe how dope you are. You are a gift from god and I can confirm this from many different angles and proof.

“If I catch you with another nigga I’m gonna kill both of y’all with a deadly weapon for sure but I’ll lave you for last because I’m a fuckin gentleman. That’s how much I love you lady. Enjoy the worship.”

Although it was likely written in jest, Twitter was quick to point out there’s nothing funny about domestic violence or threats.
