Less than a month after announcing the Unfriendly Reminder Tour featuring Playboi Carti, Shy Glizzy, and G4shi, Big Sean is postponing the 31-city run. Instead, the Santa Monica-born, Detroit-bred rapper wants to stay focused on his current studio workflow.

“I’ve been in a deep creative space and decided I need to stay focused in the studio,” he wrote in an official statement. “Unfortunately, I am postponing my upcoming tour … I learned in life you have to follow your intuition — I hope you do the same.”

“Thank you for your continued love and support,” he continued. “It means the world to me. Trust, we are working on something special for you all.”

After announcing the tour, Sean gave his fans the opportunity to help curate his set list by submitting their top 20 songs for their cities via uknowbigsean.com. There were also plans to release curated, limited edition merch that was exclusive to select cities.
